i know everybody loves old records but should people that all they do is sample should ever be called artist i mean i think beat making is a kind of art and u don't see drawings of people that sampled parts of the mona lisa.

but they are PRODUCERS not ARTIST artist is the singer/rapper...

but i a c if they sample like a couple songs.

but some producers on here got a page full of sampled songs...

im not a fan of that cuz its not there work....

Me, as for tha beatz I put on here, most of them contain samples cuz right now im just seein what I can do with these songs like its a challenge. I dont have a keyboard to work with or the right software to really show what I got as far as completely original work. So until that day I just see what I can do with these samples and try to take them to another level, u know?

lol i actually don't really enjoy using samples that much, well normally at least not a riff sample or anything long like that. unless of course i'm trying to make some sort of point or something with it.

but anyway just for fun, after reading this post i went and made my first sample heavy track, i think it turned out pretty good, it's "Drama5" on my page, give me some feedback on it..
