My mic is being stupid on me...I have an Alesis mixer and i use audacity, i dont know the name of my mic, sadly...And everytime i record with audacity the voice is delayed...if there is another program or can you guys help me with this...Thanks

dont think its the mic its ur DAW audacity. You have to set the buffer lower, im not sure how that program works. I believe if you search Latency in the help program you could find something

well when it comes to recording and editing vocals, PROTOOLS is the industry standard. I used to be the same way like man I use what I use and Protools aint all that, or its all complicated and whatnot, but once I started using it, almost from the 1st day, its so easy, and its smooth as egg shells lol if you gonna invest in a new program save up and get it, please believe it'll take u to that next level, but if you must use otherwise, atleast look into Cubase, holla

Thats the other program that i use, Cubase LE, but my stupid mic is still being late...So now i got to move the vocal itself into the right spot...How messed up is that...Im goin to sell my mic equipment, im sick of it

lol@smooth as egg shells.... thats wassup pro tools is plug and play that shit kicks in instantly with some good azz sound ill have some new full songs done for yall to listen to now that i have the good good pro tools

OH with that problem in CUBASE LE, you go to um prefernces, or settings i 4get and you have to change ur audio driver, I think to FULL ASIO, or ASIO DUPLEX, or if thats what its set at, change it to the other one, I dunno what kinda sound card you have, but that's how i fixed that problem when I had it, something to do with the audio driver, try changing that up

oh yea and its not the mic lol, its the computer.

ill try it out, and plus i have intergrated sound card...lol...Its a laptop, but it works great, so ill try that...Thanks Skip
