ive worked wit sonar, nuendo,acid,fL,ejay, and figured out that reason is not only the easiest but most flexible software out there...of course im using rewire with ProTools, but if anybody id looking a new program to make music, I say get those two programs, and you should be on your way in making that fire....of course not like me

You're wrong. Reason is a midi based software and has nothing but limitations. You cant compare programs like sonar and cubase and even FL to reason for that fact alone.

FL studio can do it all down to vocal recording. It is truly the most versitile software out and the easiest to use. You can sequence drums and instrumentation, record vocals into it and mix/master it all in FL with nothing else needed. Thats impossible to do with reason. ANY version of Reason. Plus if you want to really accomplish anything with reason, you'll have to rewire it into outside software like Cubase or FL.

You obviously have some serious learning to do in all aspects of music creation, composition, musical theory, equipment, mixing/mastering and even the technical terms of music.

dont get it twisted, im using reason, and rewiring it to Protools, FL is might have it all as you say but again, ProTools is the heAvy weight, hands down, reason just complimets it all in one small package..combined wit protools theres no limit......

I get sick and fucking tired of this shit where everybody thinks that what they got is the best. If it really is then make them sales laugh at everybody and shut the fuck up!!! I mean Reason is my personal favorite with Pro Tools but FL and Sonar might be another producers creative companion. It's all personal preference and what works best for you. Now shut the fuck up, make that fire and put yourself on the mothafucking map!!! 1.

i agree, i enjoy using reason..it hasn't let me down yet..all i was trying to say before all these tempered ass people came in, was really my own opinion, i dont put anyone down on what software/hardware used to make your tracks..im pretty much talking to those people who are trying out different software....ive tried fl and its cool just not my flavor.."feel me?"

tHATS real talk...i tried reason n it was the most confusing software i touched...i think it shouldnt matter what software you use its all about how you use it cuz FL saved my life basically

I'm a Reason 4.1 user myself. I understand I can't do everything in it but for the majority of the actual production it's fine. I may throw it into Sound Forge for Wave Hammer or Normalization but usually it's not that bad. If I want to record vocals I throw it in Acid 7.0 and it works for me. As long as you can make beats and the work flow is good with what you're using whether it be an MPC2000XL with some turntables, an SP404, or a combination of software all that matters is that it works for you. Just my 2 cents.

Shouldn't really matter what a Producer uses to make beats. Someone already stated this in the above post. But FL or Reason...it shouldn't matter. A true Producer can learn from ANY software/hardware and create that banger. Plus with the power of Rewire...basically you can use FL AND Reason rewired into a DAW sequencer such as Nuendo or Cubase.

i use 3 and 4 and 4 is amazing.from the new sequencer to the appegiator and thor gots thos gangsta synths and basses if you dont use this program for your all then use it rewire because the sounds are great.

I just made my latest banger in reason 4 and I'm so proud of it fam.
