Is anyone here using the Akai MPD-16 ?
What are your impressions on this product?
Does it come with any softwate that emulates on MPC or is it just a Midi-controller? How good is it ? Any problems ?

This product caught my attention and especially the MPD-24 that is commin out soon, but I can't find a store near me that has it in demonstration....

So if you could tell me about you experiences...

its all about the korg padKontrol

the MPD does nothing to emulate

yo! my friend uses the mpd-16 and i was going to buy it too, but after doing some research i decided to buy korg padkontrol. i advise you to do the same bro, it's simply the best pad midi controller, period. the touchpad and 'roll' and 'flam' functions are really useful, i can't imagine a pad controller without them. buy padkontrol.

I use the trigger finger i think its probably the best but i havent heard of the korg one imma look it up

mpd16 and mpd24 are just a midi controllers

I got the MPD16 and wonder why i hesitated to buy it.
I love it!!!
It dont come with any programs but it has some plugins included that i haven't used

I love my mpd also. Only with fruity loops you can get it to act like an mpc. people just dont feel like figuring out how to do it.

Still learning its ins and outs, pick 1 up.

Im using the KorgPadKontrol as well. I would definetly recommend it to anyone although i have not used the trigger finger and i have heard alot of positive reviews on it!
