I was wondering who on here uses or have used any of these and if you do then how good are they: Reason 4, Logic, Cubase, Waves Diamond Bundle, Antares Autotune, Hypersonic 2, and Korg Legacy.

I just ordered Hypersonic 2 and gonna start working with this but the others I got from a good friend of mine and I'm not gonna use none of them no time soon until I get some more RAM and an external hardrive. By the way, what is a good external hardrive and audio interface?

Cubase is cool but its no protools, waves diamond is all you need mixing wise, the pros use it, hypersonic and the korg are awesome VSTs with tons of sounds, that are crisp i have the hypersonic 2 its wicked and far as harddrives anyone will do as long as the RPMs are to like 7200rpm, as far as an interface that depends on ur budget and set up, M-audio makes some good ones, and Digidesign

the korg legacy is ok but i would use hypersonic 2 its better nd has alot more sounds

all ive used is Cubase, but im still trying to learn how to use it...But i guess its better for recording vocals...And external harddrive, on black friday i got 500GB external hard drive for 80 bucks...SATA too!

yo wat up this is Quinzire. I use cubase and a wall of bundles platinum. It works really good matter of fact I've been using cubase for about three and a half years and I like the number of things you can do with the program. I also have sampletude but I can use it til I get more ram also. If you need anymore info on cubase just ask me, and maybe we can exchange notes on the program. holla back.

hypersonic 2 that gots to be one of the best plug ins

im with Reason 4 all the way...its got a new sequencer that is more intense than the old one...the new synth is decent, got some nice sounds. Re-groove mixer is also new i havnt gotten into yet but i know it can help cook up some fire.

logic is fantastic for mixing/automating effects/plug ins... arrangement... midi controller implementation... and it's really easy to pickup and get running with... and I've never even gotten my hands on the pro version...

That Wave Diamond Bundle is dope for Mixen, Im bout to get that Mercury Bundle. That shit is Killin tha Diamond Bundle. I got that Korg Legacy Collection, I havent really use it in my production yet but i like that shit cuz u get to create some crazy ass sounds wit tha patches and shit.

i like the synths and the sequencer too. it's got some dope sounds.

cubase 3 i've used, but i don't really like it that much
i prefer adobe audition.

Korg has been around for along time. A whole bunch of artist have used it on Major Labels
