before i go and buy this keyboard i wanna know if this is a good buy and is it compatible with reason 3.0?

its a nice keyboard with nice sounds, but its gonna be hard to sequence with it, the triton is much easier to use and a better buy than the MOTIF. Unless you save your loops from the MOTIF to wav or aiff, you cant use it in Reason. Overall it depends on your style tho. Hope this helps, Peace.

I use the motif and the triton.if u are familiar with sequence programs for keyboards u can use either.u can link the motif thru usb or midi or you can record and create your own loops and sample yourself to come up with a more original feel.triton is over rated and they dont make them like they used to.the motif sounds are more powerful for some reason and more flexable with most programs.there are limitless possibilities with either one but if i were in your position i would go with the motif.you should just get both and daisy chain them both to the mpc2000xl and u wont have to use your computer for production at all.

Yea Id go with the motif, better sounds, and u can do your drums in reason. The drum sounds on the motif are the same thru out a few kits, but the leads, strings, brass, etc especially the organs! thats where its at, hell I got the lil one the MO6 and its a beast, too bad Im stuck on this FL 7, I might actually use it again lol...

i use the motif es..in my opinion its a better board than the triton ..you can linki to usb or midi.like the other guy said but you can also run a whole mlan set up..with one cord 1394 firewire..which is extremly good for keeping your loose wire count down ..if i where you id look into doing a mlan connection with my setup its real simple

a motif is the best thing to use with reason. you can control your drums easier. Also, you can track your motif sounds to something like the sonar software.

Yeah Im definitely gettin a keyboard..I dont care what people say sound quality is def better from a major keyboard such as a triton fantom or motif. People say VSTs are just as good but nah I disagree.
