First one to post in the new section 
Just curious as to what everyone uses....as for me, I work mainly with Reason 3.0 and a Midi Keyboard....I may sometimes uses Acid Pro and I'm starting to use Fruity Loops (I just need to get better VST's and plugins)....I also use Sound Forge For Sampling.
What about you guys?

I'm doin my stuff on Cubase SX.
I love that program, it has some really impressive features. True... you have to spend some time on it. But that goes for any serious program.
My 2 fundamental VST's are : Kontakt 2 sampler and the RM4 drumsampler.
I monitor on Event TR8 monitors.
Digidesign Mbox audiocard.
Yamaha mixer
EMU midicontroller.
My MP-3 player. I listen to songs I think I wanna sample during the day. It saves me a whole lot of time in the studio.
I use a some VST's. I'll post a topic soon referring to websites where you can get some free vst's. There are plenty of people programming those for free. It saves you money, and the hassle of warezed stuff.
All valuable things come at a price. I don't do McBeats. With that said : check out my beatshop.

The reason for that? I ordered SampleTank 2 and I'm waitin on that before I get serious up in hurrrr  |

Sampletank 2.1 XL + Sonik Synth 2 is a killer combo! Sampletank by itself is good, but with SS2's sounds too....its just amazing, also theres a couple expansions that are worth getting, the guitars one, the bass one, and the piano. Ik multimedia/Sonic Reality are awesome companies.
Theres a new product comin out by Ultimate Sound Bank, USB, called Plugsound Pro. I'm supposed to be doing to hip hop demo's for their website but it's been "coming soon" and not shipping for soooooooo long. I really want to try this out!

fruityloops n a casio keyboard lol but on the real tho,by listen'n to my tracks u wouldnt be able to tell,they aitn great,but they dont sound like fruityloops! lol

Im Jus Usin FL Studio 6 nothin fancy but my tracks dont sound like fruity loops im tryin to upgrade to reason 3.0 and a midi keyboard my uncle got sick connections lol
