I've done both of those, and both have a short road.
I've googled it and you gotta pay for lessons.
I've been doin it by ear all this time, but I've now reached my boundaries because of my lack of knowledge of chord progressions. So I'm at the point where I'm reaching for greater heights.
Therefore, does anyone know of a site, that doesn't charge you money, that teaches you a diverse set of styles of different kinds of chord progressions?
Thanks

thanks for that info og, thats a dope site!!!
ayo blakngold i just wanted to hit you with some knowledge i didnt see on that site. 1st you should choose a key. (for example)if the key is C major you should look at that scale. the first chord in the progression should usualy be a C maj. choose from the rest of the notes in that scale to use as root notes for the other chords in your progression. each note in the scale is a possision numbered 1-7. a standard progression is 1,4,5,2,1. thats: C maj, G maj, F maj, D maj, back to C maj. that right there is the basics of music theory.
