every string or bass player or any instrument do ya have to have an chord on them besides virtual instruments cause I really dont use chords maybe i need to but holla at me

i dont kno if i get ur questions, but chords are always good to have in any beat, depending on the style. It adds depth to your riffs, and there's only a certain number of single notes u can play, with chords its almost like u have a new selection of notes to choose from.

Yeah chords jus make any sound more full if you want a more fuller sound then use a chord but if you want it small dont...
