I feel u on that, like if a song was meant to stand for something and u go and throw bitches and ho's on it lol that's wack, but I mean what if the person who buys the beat is say jewish and wants the beat to add an updated flair to a classic that may mean alot to him or his people. I mean, think about it like this Hollywood sampled history to make that movie, the directors actors and such make money of the movie, just the same as if someone samples a song and makes money off it. If you knew for a fact that the sample from shindlers theme was going to be used for the latest track from MC such and such entitiled suck my ballz, then yea maybe u got a point lol but just to make a beat using the sample from a movie that was about a tragic event, i dont see it as being that bad.

I've never had a problem with people sampling cause i've always done it. I didn't have a problem with it until today when I heard a song by J Rini called "The battle". The problem here is that he decided to sample the theme from "Schindler's List". For those of you who have never seen "Schindler's List", it's a film about the Holocaust and what it was like during that tragic time. Now that song was written to commemorate those people who died and it translates the sadness of that time through this song. When someone samples a song like that, it's as if he has no respect for a song that respects and remembers a tragic period in history. This song should remain where it is, by itself, not by some guy wanting to add drums to it so he can make some money off of it. I think we need to draw a line somewhere. What does everyone gotta say about this?
