It's better to spend time on beats longer like Brad was sayin. There's been times were all I made was beats. I've deleted 100's of my beats cuz I just didnt like them even though I knew there were people that would eat them up. At my dad's house I got about 500 beats or more. On my mom's computer it's about 200. Then on my computer it was over 700 but I had to delete a lot of them cuz they were slowin down my old computer. So all together over 1,400 beats i've made. There's not many of them that I like cuz im real picky and im only gettin better so I hate tha old music I did. Just look to tha future, if you can tell ur not gettin better but worse, then take a long break. Practice, practice until ur tha best.

200 in 2 months. sometimes 7-8 beats a day. sometimes none.

701 on hand, but I've made over 20,000!!!!

I'm well over 2000 right now but i lost about a good 3000 beats cause some bitch wanted to give my computer a bath lol...i miss you beats...lol

well a ton on the secondary hard drive on the lab, never counted but estimated.......500+ then disks upon disks dating back to 2000 also when I started making beats myself, in 1998 at least 12 cassettes front to back on 120 minute cassettes...lol

Dang you guys, i was partying on my 150 beat...lol, im at 180 now...That doesnt seem like anything compared to all you guys...20,000!!

you guys are crazy, I've only made about 20 beats, and I take a long ass time to make mines, I really need to take myself out the freezer.

Once again, if u got a lot of beats like 20,000 it means ur spending way too much time on this. This always turns out to be a contest with who's made tha most beats so far. Who cares! One hit is better than 1,000 pretty good songs. Tha question that should be asked is how many tight beats do you have? I could make 20 crappy beats today but were would that get me? We need patience when making a song. Think things through and like ROC says, after you make a beat that you think is tight, sleep on it and if it's still tight tha next day you keep it. That's how im gonna start doin it. Keep tryin until you make a beat that make peoples eyes get wide. Otherwise ur just makin beats so you can say that you made a beat.
