Thats Messed UP 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago Give Props!: 22
http://www.mybeatshop.com/beat-battles/showbattle=14201

I guess i'll start putting my Dirty South beats in hip hop battles and my hip hop beats in rnb battles since i got robbed in this battle by a non-genre beat that had no place where it was...

But its cool shit happens right????

I wouldn't worry too much about it. There is a fine line between all genres and the final say is really the rapper/singer that takes the beat to where they need to take it.

A producer should make what they feel and not worry about fitting into a certain category, but that is another rant all together.

I feel you on this...

But the thing is on here Dirty South beats pretty much get all the love and 9/10 times the dirty south wins in the genre it should not win in thats why it ask what genre is your beat...

I don't care about losing the battle because i've been in almost 600 battles but come on now Cuzzins vote right!!!!

I have only been on here a few days, but I have noticed dirty south beats are a popular "genre".

SCG I see where you are coming from...however I did listen to both tracks, and I could see your beat placed in R&B or Hip Hop (just my opinion). I agree with Blank Tape, sometimes there is a thin line between genres. It was a close battle regardless of genres, I liked your track.

dam that is wrong doe fam, when the genre is hip-hop you should get all votes if the other person put the wrong genre in the battle.

Well Cuz i've been in over 600 battles and seen alot of that BS so it should not surprise me but that battle did! cause it was str8 up hip hop. As you battle more you'll see and everyone will tell you the same thing.
