Haha Yea He Must Of Been High When He Named It lol BUt Fl Studio Is Good If You Can Get (good) Sound Fonts And (good) vst.

mayn it aint nothin wrong with Fl. I see it as this: FL is the best program to start out with when your first makin beats. teaches drumpatterns and notes off piano roll. but its Hella ppl thatuse fl for sampling mixing and all dat crap lol. i kno i do.

haha yea i think most of the beat programs are the same just in different way. Cuz Every One Saying That Reason Has Better Sounds. Well Then Just Go On The InterNet And Look For SoundsFonts And Stuff.

I just love that in FL you can make shit work in 1 min

I got FL8 and luckily got some VSTs and I gotta say you can do almost just as much with FL than any other program out there. You gotta know how to use it...My beats are 100 times better now with the VSTs and a lil more knowledge than they were when I didnt really understand how to use it.

i went to school and got certified in protools...never really messed with FL but i hear good things about it.

The closest ive come is a program called digital performer, i believe its close to the same platform

Well when it comes to Fruity loops Ive been using it since version 2.5, yes I said 2.5 lol Ive been thru hardware set ups, and nothing seems to flow with my work process better than FL. Actually I've been stuck on version 5, since it came out. I actually purchased it in the store. Ive tried version 6, and 7, and 8 thru hacks on friends computers, and none of them seem as smooth as 5 to me. All my beats I have up were made with FL5.

As far as protools, making beats in ProTools sucks, anyone with any kinda of exprience in pro audio will tell you. Its smarter to Rewire Reason or FL into protools, but using Protools itself to make beats is a sad and ardous task, as the midi in Protools given all its grand luxor is hella lame. Most people make beats on theyre hardware, or software, and then track them into ProTools cuz Protools excels in editing, mixing and arrangement of recordings and production. There is no DAW better, 1 because of the standard that comes with any Digidesign product, you can't use just any interface with Protools it has to be a DigiDesign rated tested and approved product, which keeps everything quality, and 2 its an industry standard, everyone, everyone, everyone has protools, so you can send anyone anyone anyone, any session and itll boot right up (in most cases) just like it did at your house.

Ive tried Reason,it gives me a headache all that patching and shit lol but i kno people that are badass on it, Ive tried logic, and it too gives me a headache lol but the audio bus (32bit) is fuckin sweet and its something I wish FL had.

Like everyones said time and time again, its all in how you use it.
Tip of the year for FL studio: The folder that says packs that comes with FL studio throw it away, make, find, discover ur own kits and go from there.
