I got a quick question, i wanna know if im da only one, or not..

but do any of you prducers do this..

say you just make a sick azz beat,

do you listen to it like 30times..

i mean i even put it on my ipod and listen to it while im chill n,

and after like a week i a get a call from sum 1 who wanna buy it and they tell me how sick it is..

an in my head i b like ummm that shyt is wack now i ont like it no more..

but thats because i done heard the track like 200 times, over and over...

do any of yall play yall own beats out...

Yeah, that happens to me too. Sometimes you have to take a break from listening to the beats and come back to them later.

I have a few beats that I have played out but when they are your own... I never really get tired of them.

I do that! My boys will be like yo that beat is sick! And im sayin its "ok" cuz Ive listened to it numerous times....but yeah when i first made it I wsa listening to it 24/7...gettin chills n shit when i heard it lol

someone bought a beat from me awhile ago, actually three, that i didn't like that much and another one i kinda dismissed.

i put all my beats in my mp3 player along with released stuff and i still don't feel the first one but i'm liking the second. as far as the ones i made that i think is sick, i haven't gotten tired of 'em yet.

truth is you need a break from any tune before you kill it to death. just heard 'hold you down' again after a long time and now i'm remembering how wicked the track was.

i aint heard that and draped up in a while and i promise like 2days ago i heard em again and was feel n em like they was new....

i think it's because they upped a recent youtube vid, actually a couple. don't know if the 'making of' is new but it was most def cool. brings back that feelin' of havin emcees and your boys in the crib just makin' and buildin' tracks.

By the time I finish a beat I no longer like it. I get bored with music really quick.

true ... thats prolly cause when you make a beat you listen to it so intensiv , like hearing the same 2 second drumroll 10 times or chit , you know every part of it , and it sucks after a while ,

i Have to listen to my beats alot of times so I can hear what I may need to do to it. The only thing is I'm new to producing. So everyone with more experience feel free to holla at me, but not around me. I'm far from a hater, cuz i rather be greater.
