I've been off this site for a while cuz ive been real busy. With that busy"ness" I haven't made any beats in tha last month or so, which is tha longest period of time i've stopped makin beats since I first started. I've just been playin tha songs in my piano class but mostly learnin my way with tha keys. All tha songs i've created on my keyboard i've stored in my mind or i've written them down. My question is, does anyone ever just take a long break from makin beats and just creates songs and store them to memory or write them down? Does anyone just move around the keyboard and create melodies for just the joy of playing and use new ideas everytime u press tha keys?

i find myself doin that a lot man, ill start somethin and let it sit, go back and finish it sometimes months later, ive done this purposely @ times just because i thought a beat was too plain, or just wasnt feelin it, but hell yeah thats cool man!
