My opinion, and that's all it is, It depends on your liking. If you can freak a sound font to distinguish your own sound it doesn't matter the software. Other sotware may offer more or less options. Try freaking what you got first!

I've worked with Digital Performer for years & it's as good if not better than Pro Tools. I believe it's been around longer.As for any relation to Fruity Loops it has none.The only real problem i have with FL is that it gives begining producers & artist shortcuts to learning the basics in music. Alot of the sounds will play full chords for you,so that you will never learn how or what it is your playing.Other then that i look at it as just another source for sounds.

It doesn't matter what you use as long as you are making heat. The public don't care what you made a beat on. They just want the beat to bang in the club and in their car. If you are doing that, you are on the right path. I'm tired of people dissin' because someone uses a different program the them. Good production is good production and a hit is a hit.
