yes i would kinad not feel well if say i produced a beat made of a sample from a alraedy hit song and it was very noticeable and it got on the radio i wouldent be as proud to say that i created it as i would of craeting my own new instrmental with all my ideas and my mix and mastering on every not

this forum is not to say i belieave samplen is wrong and i belieave original is right. its just to let a listioner of a battle who is voting actually think before they vote which one actually was working harder to create who actually deserves it. r maby u just like the way either sounds over all doesent matter its just to actually care when u vote on a battle when its obviously a sample vs an orginal not sayin im doin this because i may have lost a battle against a sample r an orginal instrumental. its just a thought that i had when i was voting on batles

Ya, you could be like Polow Da Don and use Apple Loops that came with Garage Band to make Love In This Club: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVHvnpoVTGY

I know most people have seen this, but it never gets old! You could argue he's a genius for making millions off some presets, you could also argue he's lazy for not making his own sounds. Depends how you look at it I guess.

I feel you. I personally enjoy making all my tracks from scratch...it's fun coming up with the ideas either on the keys or guitar or whatever. I also get more satisfaction when someone buys my beat, knowing I created all the elements from scratch. But it's different for every producer.

yeah man, love them KRK's I just bought the sub to match (highly recommended)

My votes are not based on the presumptions of how the beat was made. If it sounds good, it's good. I used to do beats by composing, but ended up using samples just beacause the feel I get using them. It might be just in my mind though.

Thats a tuff decision sometimes but in some cases you can really mess a sample up and disrespect the original. But the choice comes from the better sounding beat.
